This large dwelling was arranged into three rooms.

Among its remains are features also found in other houses in the settlement: millstones, containers for storing products, and burials. One of the burials is that of a child placed in a ceramic urn. At Castellón Alto, burials were linked to domestic spaces, so the house brought together everyday activities and places of remembrance for the dead. Observe how the rooms and surviving features are arranged.

We do not know every action performed by its inhabitants, but a millstone indicates food processing, a vessel suggests storage, and a tomb reveals funerary practices. Taken together, this evidence helps us understand the dwelling as a space that changed with the needs of those who occupied it.
